The New Orleans Pelicans take on the Washington Wizards tonight knowing that a loss for them might end their chances to make the play-in tournament. The Wizards on the other hand have fallen behind the Hornets who did not even make the trip to the bubble. The Wizards are the only team in the entire league to be confirmed exiting the bubble after the seeding games end.
The Pelicans were humbled by the Kings and will now have to win their remaining games to stand any chance of making the play-in tournament. Zion will look to dominate the game against Wizards after missing the major chunk of his rookie season with injuries.

Brandon Ingram and Lonzo Ball have a massive role to play in tonight’s game too, because if they don’t step up to the plate, it could be curtains for the Pelicans this season.

Team Preview – Washington Wizards
With the Wizards likely to go home after their seeding games, they would like to cause a few upsets in their remaining games. Rookie Hachimura might finally be freed to cause havoc on the Pelicans. Wizards have been extremely poor in the Bubble and will want a strong performance to restore some pride.
With the shackles off, the Wizards are now free to play a free-flowing game and will look to cause problems for the Pelicans who looked tame during their defeat to the Kings.

Team Preview – New Orleans Pelicans
The Pelicans will look upto Brandon Ingram to provide the impetus on the offensive end. The former Lakers star has been their leading scorer this season and is also in the race to win the most improved player award for the season.

Defensively Pelicans have been pretty abysmal and Zion will need to step up and sort that out. He’s slated to play around 20-25 minutes tonight and will need to be absolutely locked in to provide a glimmer of hope to his franchise.
Zion and co. have had dismal shooting stats in the bubble and will look to improve that in order to force a late entry into the play-in games.
