The Memphis Grizzlies release a hilarious list of basketball analysts who all picked them to lose against Steph Curry and the Warriors.
The Golden State Warriors were one 34-footer away from perhaps making it to the Playoffs as a 7th seed. However, with LeBron James draining the aforementioned long-range bomb right in Steph Curry’s face in the final minute of Lakers-Warriors, the latter was sent to the final play in game to try to claim the 8th seed.

The Memphis Grizzlies entered last night’s play in after having been beaten by Steph Curry and his 46 points about a week ago. Ja Morant seems to have taken this beatdown in the regular season a bit personal as he went to off against the Dubs, dropping 35 points and the game winning floater in OT with 4.5 seconds left on the clock.
This is the only game in the inaugural play in tournament that saw a lower seed beat a higher seed to advance to the Playoffs.
The Memphis Grizzlies and Ja Morant hilariously show off the list of doubters they had going into the game.
Considering the fact that the Warriors were the higher seed and were boasting an MVP and DPOY candidate, were given a better chance to win. SportsLine betting simulated the outcome of this game 10,000 times and came up with the moneyline bets as Warriors –200 and Grizzlies +175; the clear favorite being Steph Curry’s crew.

However, upon Ja Morant and the Grizzlies besting the Warriors in an OT classic, the Grizzlies social media team hilariously put out a list of well respected basketball analysts such as Kevin Pelton and Kirk Goldsberry who voted on the outcome of last night’s game.
All but one voted for the Warriors to advance. Monica McNutt of ESPN and FS1 was the only one who believed in Ja Morant and GrindCity to pull away for the victory. The sophomore sensation even took to Twitter to shout out McNutt for riding with the Grizzlies against all odds.

Memphis’s work is far from over however as they must now prepare to face off against a team that is top 4 in both offense and defense. It’s unclear whether or not Donovan Mitchell and Mike Conley will suit up for Game 1 but either way, the Grizz will have to dig deep to pull out a victory over the Utah Jazz.
