“Steph Curry’s best attribute is his unwavering self-belief”: GM Bob Meyers sings Warriors star’s praises
Bob Meyers says that Steph Curry’s ‘unwavering belief in himself’ is his best quality/attribute.
Steph Curry can be attributed to kickstarting a whole new era in the NBA. Due to the success of the Golden State Warriors’ offense being centered around deep range sniper Steph Curry, every single team starting spreading the floor on offense.
Steph Curry’s revolutionary play from beyond the arc, along with fellow ‘Splash Brother’ Klay Thompson shaped the NBA into what it is today.
Players such as Damian Lillard and Trae Young are thriving in this league today, due to the foundation Curry built.
Steph was forced to excel from 3 point range. Being a 6’3 point guard on the lighter side of the weighing makes it hard to dominate within the arc. To shoot 3s at the volume at which Curry does, it takes a whole lot confidence.
This is exactly what Bob Meyers reportedly loves about the 3x champ.

Bob Meyers and Steph Curry have built up a great relationship over the past decade. After all, Curry did bring home 3 chips in the 2010s.

When asked about Curry, Meyers delved deep into what he truly admires about the Davidson alum. Meyers said, “I always tell Steph that the best attribute he has is his unwavering belief in himself.”
He continued on by saying, “You’d be shocked by the huge amount of insecurity among NBA players. The power the media has over them is enormous. Hearing ‘you suck’ chants hits people.”
Steph Curry was perhaps one of the most hated athletes in the mid-2010s. Most people said they didn’t gravitate towards him because they felt he was ‘too cocky’. However, Curry has always been that way.
His confidence in himself was perceived as cockiness by the public, as he made it hard to distinguish the two. The narrative on Curry has taken a 180 however as he is now one of the most beloved stars the NBA has.
