For anyone who has been watching the league in recent times, Stephen Curry is a household name. The Warriors’ superstar has left his mark on the league in many ways. Steph has been a consistent prominent figure in the league, and he has only bolstered the image this season. The 2x NBA MVP is making a strong case for his third MVP honors this season. Curry has been putting up some unreal numbers this season, averaging 31.8 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 5.7 assists, while shooting 42.1% from the deep.
Stephen Curry was often overlooked in the league, due to having star teammates like Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson. However, with Klay injured, and Durant in the Nets, Steph has proven naysayers wrong by propelling his team to the top play-in spot.
Channing Frye compares Stephen Curry to Iron Man
Former NBA Champion Channing Frye was recently on the Dan Patrick show. There Frye was asked to explain Stephen Curry for someone who’s never seen him play. Frye explained by saying,
Oh man, I would say imagine a guy that could show up on any court, and probably not be picked first but then would never leave the court, cause he is gonna win every single game. Like he, he is not big, he is not extremely fast; he is not extremely athletic but yet he is no 1 or 2, depending on how old you are the most influential people, person in the NBA in the last 10-20 years.
Steph’s greatest superpower is his skill. Steph is like ironman, like he built himself, like he worked on that, and he has this innate ability, like shooting is something that everyone can do yet he does it so well,

Just like Iron Man, Steph also had his father in the same field. However, the two of them used their own opportunities to make something bigger of themselves. Tony Stark used his brains and made the Iron Man suit. Stephen Curry worked on his body and game, and got to the level he is at today. Steph is one of the biggest stars in the game, and it was all thanks to the work he put in. The comparison Frye draws fits perfectly for him.
