Nico Mannion spoke about how Stephen Curry motivated his teammates after a blowout loss to Kawhi Leonard and his Clippers.

On Thursday night, the Warriors played against the Kawhi Leonard-led Los Angeles Clippers. With it being their first game post the All-Star break, Golden State definitely started the second half of the season on the wrong foot.
During the Warriors’ blowout against the Clippers, Stephen Curry was seen being frustrated during a huddle. Rookie Nico Mannion, got a taste of what it felt like being in the league. During the huddle, Curry as expressing his frustrations to the team.
In an interview, Mannion spoke about the incident, calling him one of the best competitors in the league. He added:
“Last night in the huddle was I think the first time I’ve really seen him that animated. I think everyone knows he is a competitor, probably one of the best competitors I’d say, you can see that just from how much he wins and this organization’s won and he’s kind of the one behind it, him and Draymond.”

After the debacle last year, the Warriors are trying to redeem themselves this season. 7-time All-Star Curry has been having a tremendous season personally while trying to lead the Warriors clinching a playoffs spot.
Nico Mannion revealed how the Warriors had another talk in the locker room, after their 26 points loss against the Clippers. Mannion revealed:
“That was really the first time I’ve seen him that animated and he got his point across, we had a talk in the locker room after the game and we’re going to try to get this thing back on the right track.”

The Warriors are currently 9th in the Western Conference with a 19-19 record. With half of the season still remaining, Golden State has ample time to turn around things to their favor.
