“Richard Jefferson is kissing up to LeBron James”: Skip Bayless calls out former Cavalier for claiming Lakers MVP is the greatest scorer of all time, over Michael Jordan

Warriors coach Steve Kerr reveals how his MVP Stephen Curry has been reminding him of Tim Duncan and Michael Jordan.

No NBA enthusiasts or analyst would deny that Stephen Curry is the greatest shooter in the history of the game. Holding virtually all the three-point records in the books, Steph has transformed how the game is played with the usage of the three-point line.

This season too, Curry has been in fed hot form, leading the league in points scored. The 7-time All-Star has been having himself the best year of his successful career.

The 6-foot-3 sharpshooter has been putting up MVP type of numbers averaging 31.3 points, 5.8 assists and 5.5 rebounds per game while shooting at an incredible 42.6% from beyond the arc.

Despite putting up some mind-boggling numbers on a nightly basis, Stephen and his Warriors have a subpar 33-32 record. However, with the season reaching its conclusion, Curry has the potential to make a late playoff push to climb to 8th or even 7th seed in the Western Conference.

Steve Kerr notes some similarities between Michael Jordan, Tim Duncan and Stephen Curry

In his incredible 12-year career, Curry has received numerous player comparisons. However, in a recent interview, Warriors head coach Steve Kerr had some wild comparisons for his point guard. Kerr, who had the privilege to share the court with both legends – Michael Jordan and Tim Duncan, revealed a few traits of the Hall-Of-Famers which he saw in Steph.

Tim Duncan was like a big man version of Curry on the court. The Warriors head coach compared the attitudes that Curry and Tim shared:

“The combination of humility and humor, and then total confidence on the floor. It’s such an amazing combination. A lot of people who have the humor and the humility, usually guys like that are the ones who are at the end of the bench. So when you have a superstar that has that type of combination, it’s so rare and incredibly powerful.”

Steve Kerr even went on to compare Steph to 6-time NBA champ and the GOAT Michael Jordan. According to Kerr, Curry’s greatness is comparable to that of His Airness. Kerr mentioned the similarities he noticed in the two:

“He’s reminding me of MJ in that you just get so used to the brilliance and the excellence, it sort of blends in with everything else. It just becomes routine.”

“It’s insane to say that because what you’re watching is otherworldly, and yet you sort of begin to expect it. That’s probably the purest sign of greatness.”
