Charles Barkley annihilated a Lakers fan on NBAonTNT for calling him out on eating Krispy Kreme donuts by calling him a fata**.
Charles Barkley didn’t earn the nickname ‘Round Mound of Rebound’ by being an athlete that had 4% body fat. The Sixers and Suns legend was known to assert his will in the paint with his sheer size and strength that he gained from being a solid 114kg. Whether it was trucking through opposing players en route to a layup or crashing the boards from out of nowhere, Barkley was dominant.

Throughout his NBA career it was well documented that he did necessarily stick to a strict diet and on most days, lounged while eating pizza or doughnuts. This just goes to show how talented and skilled Charles Barkley was where he could dominate while not being in tip-top shape for most of his professional career.
Doughnuts in particular, seemed to have always gotten Chuck’s eyes to light up. The ongoing ‘gag’ revolving around his love for Krispy Kreme doughnuts on NBAonTNT isn’t merely a gag as Barkley truly is infatuated with them.
Charles Barkley hilariously fires back at a fan who called out his Krispy Kreme obsession.
During a segment of Inside the NBA, Ernie showed the rest of the guys a hilarious tweet that read, “Charles Barkley would pick Krispy Kreme donuts for the first pick.” Whether this was a reference to Chuck’s major flub of picking Allen Iverson over Michael Jordan in all-time draft is unknown.
Regardless, this prompted Charles Barkley to stop production from going to commercial and point out that the Lakers fan who tweeted at him was not in particularly great shape either. This, of course, led to the entire set bursting out in laughter.

Interestingly enough, Sir Charles’s NBAonTNT co-host, Shaquille O’Neal, is a spokesperson for Krispy Kreme. He even sent Chuck 53 donuts as a way to endorse this new endeavor of his. It’s safe to say that the Inside the NBA crew has (mainly Charles Barkley) has given Krispy Kreme a boatload of free press over a span of 2+ decades.
