“They said Montrezl Harrell was the problem with the Clippers”: Lakers big man throws shade at Paul George and co following their embarrassing loss to Luka Doncic and the Mavericks in Game 2
Montrezl Harrell likes a tweet that throws shade at the Clippers for going down 0-2 against the Mavericks, claims he wasn’t the problem.
The Los Angeles Lakers underwent a slight revamp in the 2020 offseason when it came to the pieces surrounding LeBron James and Anthony Davis. Bringing Montrezl Harrell on board from the Clippers seemed to be a priority of the Lakers as they offered him the mid-level exception as soon as free agency opened. It also helps that he shares the same agent as LeBron James: Rich Paul.
Harrell claims that the Lakers made him feel wanted and alluded to the fact that the Clippers never really showed any interest in bringing him back. Fast-forward to present day and LAC is down 0-2 to Luka Doncic’s Dallas Mavericks and perhaps what they really need at the moment is an energetic, rim-running center who can switch between 3-5 on defense.
Harrell however, seems to be enjoying the fact that his Lakers have tied their series against the Phoenix Suns at 1 a piece, despite the fact that his minutes were given to Marc Gasol and he was effectively DNPed.
Montrezl Harrell takes shots at the Clippers for not wanting him back.
At times it feels as though athletes do not know about Twitter’s feature of knowing who liked what tweets as they slip up in this context far too often. On the other hand, perhaps they do know exactly what they’re doing and choose to get their true feelings out there.
Regardless, Montrezl Harrell let everybody know that he’s enjoying life following Paul George and Kawhi Leonard’s squad go down 0-2 to the Mavericks and also liked a tweet that sarcastically said, “And they said Montrezl Harrell was the problem on the Clippers.”
😂😂😂😂 just gone enjoy life man!

Harrell’s former squad did not have him in the Bubble with them when they lost their 3-1 lead over the Denver Nuggets in the WCSF as he was dealing with the passing of his grandmother of the time. It did not stop a couple of rabid Clippers fans from turning the blame to Montrezl’s lackluster regular season and regression on the defensive end of the floor.
Either way, Montrezl Harrell seems to be blocking out all of the noise as he watches LeBron James and Anthony Davis be the superstars that they are, leading the purple and gold to yet another clutch victory.
