"When I was in accura, I still couldn’t clean up my act": Is Kevin Durant hinting at a new musical venture with his Drake and Migos tweets?

NBA Superstar Kevin Durant might have something cooking, as he posts multiple tweets with reference to Drake and the Migos

Being a star in the NBA is no short of being a celebrity. Ever since the global broadcasting of the NBA, and the internet era, the players are as well known as other public personalities. The players are also well known in social circles and are often friends with other celebrities.

Drake has often been spotted hanging out with NBA stars such as LeBron James, Kevin Durant, and Stephen Curry. James Harden and his affiliations with Lil Baby and other artists are no secret as well. At the same time, multiple NBA players are also known to dabble in the music world. Damian Lillard, a.k.a, ‘Dame Dolla’, is one of the best examples of the same. There are also others like Shaquille O’Neal, Marvin Bagley, and a lot more.

Is Kevin Durant up to something with Drake and/or the Migos?

Last night, Kevin Durant was busy tweeting during Game 2 of the NBA Finals. He started the proceedings off with a video of the Migos free-styling.

Later, KD made a tweet that had the following text.

Say that then, maybach Benz wit me in the back

When I was in accura, I still couldn’t clean up my act

Now, if you arent familiar with the context. These are the lyrics to Drake’s new song, Wasting Time. Now, this could either be one of the two things. Either KD was just vibing to his buddy’s music. Or, KD is somehow related to the song, and the most plausible explanation is, he either was one of the producers, or is about to showcase in the music video.

Durant has made appearances in Drake’s previous music videos as well. The most recent one was when he starred in the ‘Laugh Now Cry Later’ video.

It is interesting to see what KD is up to. Currently, he’s busy practicing with Team USA for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, but he has been keeping busy online as well.
