Shaquille O’Neal is one mighty person. In terms of size and stature, god forbid you ever cross the Lakers legend’s path or mock him. Worse, would be if you would judge his career. He calls himself the most dominant ever and there are only a select few to that he truly bows his head. Last night Stephen Curry joined that list.

Yes, on the TNT broadcast for the NBA Playoffs, the cast and crew were at their usual best. Giving out takes and analyses that to an extent make sense. For all their experience in the NBA, the guys at Inside the NBA are known more for their hilariously bad takes.
Charles Barkley, whilst talking about the Golden State Warriors and Sacramento Kings game, took a shot at Shaq. And for some reason, O’Neal didn’t protest. Not once.
“Yeah You Right”: Shaquille O’Neal does not protest over the fact that Stephen Curry has a better Legacy than him
We are as stunned as you are but just watch this clip, Charles simply says, “Steph was a better player than you“. Shaq does not refute it, not even one bit.
He simply says, “Yeah, you right“.

To see Shaq bow his head to such a degree is unheard of. He doesn’t show such respect if the athlete were not great. Just take a look at his podcast, he will talk about his legacy and deride anyone.
Curry earned his respect and for that we think Shaq is quite the big man.
The respect between Shaq and Steph
While Stephen Curry and Shaquille O’Neal have never played on the same team or directly competed against each other in the NBA, they have mutual respect and admiration for one another.
Shaq has publicly praised Curry’s talent and skill on multiple occasions, calling him “the greatest shooter ever.” Curry has also expressed his admiration for Shaq, acknowledging the former center’s dominance in the league and impact on the game.
In fact, in 2019, Curry even invited Shaq to speak to his team during a Warriors practice. Despite the age and generational gap between them, Curry and Shaq share a common love and passion for basketball, and their mutual respect for each other serves as a testament to their greatness both on and off the court.
