"They Said My Beard Looks Like Kevin Durant's Head!": Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum Had Hilarious 'Pubes' Talk on NBA's IG

Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum were a backcourt pairing that gave NBA teams a lot of trouble. The star duo played together for the Portland Trail Blazers for nine years, reaching the Western Conference Finals once in that period.

Though CJ and Dame were great players in their own regard, they were unable to achieve a lot of success in the years. Eventually, McCollum was traded to the New Orleans Pelicans as Portland went into a rebuild mode around their superstar.

The players remain great friends despite playing for rival teams in the NBA. Recently, a video of them has resurfaced on the internet. The hilarious video was recorded during the Covid lockdown when both players had gone live on Instagram.

CJ McCollum reads hilarious comments from fans

During the COVID-19 lockdown, the NBA players often came live on Instagram to interact with fans as all physical interactions had been suspended. A video of McCollum and Lillard was recently tweeted in which the former talks about fans commenting on his beard. Here is what he said:

“They said my pubes look like KD’s head.”

The comments by the fans had Lillard in splits. He couldn’t believe they were addressing them on a public forum and jokingly asked CJ to stay away from the comments. In an unexpected move, the hysterical video was also shared by the NBA’s official Instagram account.

CJ McCollum and Damian Lillard’s record in Portland

The two guards paired up in 2013 after McCollum was drafted by the Portland Trail Blazers. Lillard was in his second year in the league, and their chemistry was visible from the get-go. Their win-loss record as a Portland Trail Blazer was 307-245 in the regular season and 25-29 in the playoffs.

Their best run came in 2019 when they willed their team to the Western Conference Finals. However, they had to face the formidable Golden State Warriors team, and the series resulted in a 4-0 sweep. The duo would play together for two more years before being traded during the 2022 trade deadline.
