The story that The Athletic’s Sam Amick reported was that LeBron was frustrated at the Lakers and that he wanted roster changes. It was tweeted just a few hours ago.

And naturally, given the repertoire of a publication like The Athletic, it went viral. However, LeBron has decided he has time on his hands. He felt that it was important to clarify his stance on the subject – and he did so in a rather verbose manner.
“You make it sound like I’m frustrated”: LeBron James slams Sam Amick
So, LeBron is not disappointed. Nor is he frustrated. In fact, according to The King himself, he is perfectly content with the situation in LA.
His love for his city and his team is so great that he ran out of the 140-character limit to express his displeasure at Sam’s reporting. More than that he also slammed the reporter saying his words were taken out of context. Just take a look at the tweet.
Upmost respect and calmness cause that’s the mood I’m in! Your welcome! 5 game winning streak. 😉👑

And the cherry on top? James is proud of his team’s 5 game-win streak.

The Lakers are on a 5-game win streak!
The Los Angeles Lakers are winning, yes! After starting the season an abysmal 1-6, they are now 19-21 and are just 1 game shy of a play-in spot.
And while the sun might be finally shining down on the city of Angles, we think LeBron’s comments are unfair. Sure, he has every right to clarify himself. However, Sam was just doing his duty.
He was reporting, as he should. And he expressed his opinion, which to a certain degree is true.
LeBron James might deny it but he is doing so to quell down an impending implosion. Because sooner or later, the Lakers will implode. It is only a matter of when and not if.
