Barcelona are prepared to make a cash plus swap deal to bring Neymar back to Camp Nou. 

Barcelona are in negotiations with Paris Saint Germain, over potential money plus swap deal for Neymar this window. It is widely reported that the Blaugrana are prepared to let Philippe Coutinho leave the club to join the Parisians.

There have been widespread reports about Neymar’s return to Camp Nou, however, it remains to be seen if the club would be able to match the astronomical fee. But, the club is trying to ease the deal by handing Coutinho in the other side.

According to the Spanish publication Sport, Barcelona are locked in negotiations after the club deemed €300 million asking price high. The Spanish side are preparing a bid worth €100 million plus Philippe Coutinho, which could interest the French side.

It has been a tough life for Neymar’s compatriot since his move from Liverpool in January 2018 – failing to match the expected standards. Ousmane Dembele has attitude issues and has been injured most often, which has forced Ernesto Valverde to take action immediately.

Before Coutinho’s arrival at Barcelona, PSG were circling him in the hopes of securing his services. Albeit the temptation to sign the attacking midfielder, the Brazilian preferred a move to Spain. It could only prove to be a hindrance as the board members still regard the Brazilian highly.

The French side are no longer tolerating superstar behaviour, after the president publicly made a statement, warning his players. Simultaneously, Neymar made a massive transfer claim by stating that he should not have left Barcelona in the first place.

Antoine Griezmann has been intensely linked, but Lionel Messi prefers Neymar over the Frenchman, as per reports. Even Luis Suarez spoke about his admiration and the prospect of pairing with him again.

The possibility of Neymar’s return is high, should they hand over Philippe Coutinho in return. The Parisians have also been admirers of Ivan Rakitic, but he will not yield a good transfer amount because of the age.
