Neymar’s transfer rumors are going stronger by the passing day, and the Brazilian puts forward a condition as Real pursues the star.

Brazilian forward Neymar is heavily linked to Real Madrid, as the PSG star has been reportedly unhappy at the French capital. FC Barcelona have distanced itself from pursuing Neymar, and Real Madrid are set to prepare a stunning bid to land the forward to the Spanish capital.

According to Spain’s media outlet Deportivo Mundo, there’s another twist in the Neymar transfer saga. The Brazil star has told his national teammates Dani Alves, Thiago Silva, Thiago Motta and Marquinhos that he will leave PSG if he wins the world cup.

Deportivo Mundo claims that Neymar broke this news to his fellow Brazilians while the group was out for lunch after their Coupe de France final.

Neymar joined Paris Saint Germain from FC Barcelona last summer for a world record fee of 200m. Since signing for PSG, Neymar has had a troublesome time with fellow striker Edinson Cavani. The Brazilian is currently recovering from an ankle injury, which he suffered in February.

Real Madrid are interested in signing Neymar, and preparing a bid in the region of 230m. However, Paris Saint Germain has reportedly set a 260m price to let the Brazilian star go.

Neymar has appeared in 30 games for PSG this season, scoring 28 goals.

The Brazilian had earlier spent four seasons with FC Barcelona, before leaving them to become the main man at PSG.

Real Madrid and Neymar have a history which dates long back to 2006. Neymar participated in trials for the Madrid club as a 14-year old and even signed after a good performance. However, the parties couldn’t mutually agree for a fee.

Earlier, FC Barcelona midfielder Andres Iniesta said that it will be unusual for Barcelona to pursue Neymar. “I don’t think there’d be any problems inside the dressing room but for me, it would be a bit weird to see him back at Barcelona,” Iniesta said.
