25-year-old Brazilian sensation, Neymar, compassionately spoke about his previous employer, FC Barcelona, at FIFA’s The Best Awards held in London on Monday night.

It was a good night for Neymar in London, as he reunited with former Barcelona partners, Lionel Messi and Andres Iniesta, with the three players being named in the FIFA FIFpro World XI. Another ex-Barcelona player and Neymar’s PSG team-mate, Dani Alves was also part of the XI.

In an interview during the ceremony, the former Barcelona winger recalled his brilliant time at the Camp Nou, and the influence the Catalan club has on his professional career.

“I will always have Barcelona in my heart,” Neymar revealed in the interview reported by Marca. “I had a great season at the club and I cannot forget it, but now we have to think about something else.”

This is the second instance that the Brazilian is included in the FIFpro World XI, after he previously appeared in 2015’s FIFpro World XI. Neymar further revealed how he felt after being voted among the top 3 players in the world: “It’s important to be here, alongside the best.”

Neymar joined Paris Saint-Germain for a world-record fee this summer and is determined to continue the achievements he reached at Barcelona, and transfer his form for the Parisians.

The Brazilian also wants to be one of the best in the world in the coming years, and also revealed about the red card he received during PSG’s latest 2-2 draw against Olympique Marseille.

“Things like that should not happen, it was not a football game and I hope I do not fall into error again,” Neymar concluded.

The 25-year-old has begun his career at the Parc des Princes in brilliant fashion, netting the ball 10 times in his first 11 games, also helping PSG to an unbeaten start to their Ligue 1 campaign.
