NFL Fans Remember the Day When Goat Tom Brady Was Suspended for 25% Of the Season, All Because the Other Teams Were Sick of Him Always Winning
Draymond Green’s suspension has been the talk of the town lately. There are many who believe that the Warriors’ star has been unfairly handed a suspension. Cue the NFL fans’ entry, who dispute this claim to the core. For fans of the gridiron, there is no bigger injustice than the one meted out to Tom Brady in 2016. One that saw him miss 25% of the season’s games. All for a crime he did not even commit.
Draymond Green faced a one-match suspension after he stomped on Sacramento center Domantas Sabonis’ chest during Game 2 of the NBA Playoff series. Though according to Green, the ban is a result of a violation he did a long time ago. Many in the NBA community are calling this the most unfair suspension ever. However, NFL fans have a thing or two to say about that.
NFL fans believe Tom Brady getting suspended in 2016 is the worst call ever
Tom Brady and the Patriots faced their worst scandal ever when they were accused of tampering with game footballs during the 2015 AFC Championship game. Even though the subsequent investigations did not find Brady guilty of any wrongdoing, he was still suspended for 4 games, which he served at the beginning of the 2016 season. Naturally, not everyone was amused back then, and even now.

Though the court of public opinion against Green is split, it wasn’t the case with Brady. In fact, there was even a protest organized by a bunch of his supporters, who went ahead and sat in the halls of the NFL headquarters. Naturally, they were all picked up and escorted to the nearest jail by the Police. What’s more, the NFL even quietly apologized for the entire shenanigans almost 7 years later.
Green will be hoping to use this suspension as a comeback, just like Brady did
Draymond Green might have missed a crucial game in the playoff series with his suspension. However, he was lucky enough that his team pulled off a win. The Warriors are now just one game down on the Kings, and could possibly mount a comeback win. Just like Brady did in 2016 when he led the Patriots to a Super Bowl win even after missing the first 4 games.
The Warriors will be hoping for such a positive end to their season as well. However, they face a rather tough opponent in the Kings, who arguably have the better story this season. The two back-to-back losses also do not help either. This implies that the Warriors have to be the ones pushing pedal to the metal. Will the Warriors manage a comeback against the Kings?
