To Save 'Innocent' Tom Brady, Matt Damon Once Took the Blame for DeflateGate Scandal; "Did it to Save My Nephew's Lungs"

In 2015, Tom Brady and the New England Patriots got into massive trouble when they were hit with problematic claims of deflating the footballs in their game against the Indianapolis Colts. The Deflategate scandal ran for months, but in the meantime, the event gave actors like Matt Damon and John Krasinski a chance to make rib-tickling parodies of the situation.

A group of A-list celebrities, during a special segment on the Jimmy Kimmel Show, came forward and took the blame for the entire scandal in the most hilarious way possible. The football loving celebs just wanted to show the world how desperate they were to save the Golden Boy of the NFL.

Matt Damon and Ben Affleck once took the blame upon themselves in order to save Tom Brady

Everyone desperately wanted to know who was responsible for the Deflategate scandal. Therefore, Jimmy Kimmel took it upon himself to get to the bottom of it. Post that, a number of star New England Patriots fans confessed to having a role in deflating one of the Patriots’ footballs in the AFC Championship Game.

“Couple of Sundays back, I went to the locker room in Foxborough. I am Tom Brady’s kids’ tutor and we hear on the walking that the Goodyear blimp is going down, its careening into the stadium. We hear the captain yell, ‘we need air to save the day,'” Jack Ryan star John Krasinski said while accepting that he deflated the balls.

Then the video got cut to Jimmy’s old pal Matt Damon who was heard saying that he was there to watch a New England game when his nephew started coughing badly and needed some ‘air.’ So to save his nephew’s lungs, he deflated the game balls. Post that, Chris Evans and Ben Affleck also confessed to their crimes and urged everyone to stop framing innocent Brady.

Undoubtedly, this is one of the funniest segments in the history of show.

Ben Affleck is a huge TB12 fan!

‘The Batman’ actor has always supported the former New England Patriots quarterback, and his love for Brady knows no bounds. During an appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” Ben spoke highly and passionately about the fifteen-time Pro Bowler. He also revealed the story behind the first time he ever exchanged pleasantries with Brady.

“I met Tom, not to brag, the year that he replaced Drew Bledsoe, and I was actually at this random — this is when I thought things like this were fun — the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, and I went to a party, and I saw him, and they had just won the Super Bowl [in 2002], whatever and he was like 22 and I was 27, so I was older than him, and I was like, ‘Oh my God, man, so great to meet you, like you’re the king of Boston,’ and he goes, ‘No way, you’re the king of Boston,’” Affleck said.

Affleck then revealed that he really wanted to know where Brady would go after he ended his deal with the Patriots. Talking about the same during an appearance on ESPN’s ‘Get Up,’ Affleck had claimed, “Me and Matt [Damon] texted him and said, ‘What’s the deal? You going or you staying?’”

Ben then stated that Brady only replied with the shrug emoji. Hence, we can conclude that Affleck and Damon are undoubtedly, super massive Brady fanboys.
