Notorious Antonio Brown is one of the most controversial entities in the NFL world. A lot of time has passed since he was relieved from his receiver duties by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. However, from time to time, Brown still ends up showing his frustration with the Bucs’ support staff and their former QB1 Tom Brady. Recently, Brown made an appearance on Tyreek Hill’s ‘It Needed to Be Said’ Podcast, where he talked in detail about what happened during that infamous Jets game, and also revealed a few facts about him which not many people knew before.

As it turns out, Brown had another ‘sideline-meltdown-like moment’ before the Jets vs Bucs game. In fact, Brown’s own family was at the center of the whole fiasco. While Antonio didn’t say a lot about that particular game, he did reveal how angry his mother got after seeing her son being ill-treated on the field.
Antonio Brown talks about his another ‘sideline meltdown-type’ moment
Antonio Brown is not one of the easiest people to interview, to put in mildly. However, it seems like he truly respects Tyreek Hill, which is why he seemed quite articulate with his responses on the recent episode of the ‘It Needed to Be Said’ podcast. While the two stars had several memorable conversations, the interaction took a very interesting turn when former Tampa receiver was asked to comment on his infamous sideline meltdown.
Before reflecting on his shirtless shenanigans, Brown candidly revealed that he almost had another incident of that sort once before. “My momma came to the game, my uncles and my family, they like to see me get the ball and I wasn’t getting the ball. My mom was like, you all keep giving that b*tch the ball, give my son the ball,” Antonio claimed, adding that his response at that time was , “yo, we outta here.”
Post that, talking about the sideline incident at MetLife stadium, Brown said that while he was grateful for the opportunity he was getting in Tampa, the team wasn’t grateful to him for the efforts he was putting in. He then went on to accuse the Bucs of forcing him to play despite carrying an injury and targeting him with Covid investigation.
Antonio Brown didn’t like Tom Brady talking to him as if he was a narcissist
Innumerable analysts and fans credit Tom Brady for giving Antonio a chance to showcase his talent at Tampa, when numerous other teams weren’t willing to do so, given his love affair with controversies. However, even then, Brown hasn’t stopped speaking against Tom ever since he was kicked off by the Bucs.
Giving a reason why he isn’t fond of Brady no more, Antonio told Tyreek that during 2021 season, Tom was giving him talks like he was some sort of a narcissist. “I was like what bro,” Brown said, adding that he didn’t know how to make sense of Brady’s pep talks as he already was pushing himself through a bad injury, and was also one of the lowest paid stars in the team.
All in all, Brown thinks he was underpaid, and was ill-treated by the people in power at Tampa, which is probably why he never leaves a chance of taking a shot at Tom.
