Deshaun Watson

Deshaun Watson had his world flipped around in March this year after being accused of multiple sexual assault violations. And it seems like the Houston Texans have seen the last of him, at least for next season. But that doesn’t seem to stop Watson from putting in the work at getting better.

Watson was already upset and had been public about his want of trade outside of Houston. And even though the new administration was adamant about keeping the star QB, the Texans are already getting prepared for a life without Watson.

Deshaun Watson was accused of sexual misconduct from one of his masseuses for the first time midway through March. And that number eventually went up to 22 accusations that translated into lawsuits. It continues to look very unlikely that Watson will play this fall. He could face a league suspension at some point in the near future, and/or be placed on the commissioner’s exempt list. His deposition in the case won’t come until February 2022 at the earliest, per reports.

Deshaun Watson took to Instagram to post a workout video.

Last month, Deshaun Watson broke his social media silence by putting up a few stories on his Instagram page showing him grinding it out in a football facility. Today, he published his first post since March, and it is a well-produced version of similar workout exploits.

Despite the Texans having a horrible 4-12 season, Deshaun Watson had another Pro Bowl season. As a fourth-year pro during the 2020 season, Watson completed 382 of 544 passes (70.2%) for 4,823 yards and 33 touchdowns to seven interceptions while adding three rushing scores and 444 yards (4.9 average) on 90 carries in 16 games.

It will be very interesting to see if Deshaun Watson will be able to come out unscathed from his lawsuits.
