Fans Call Micah Parsons Delusional for His “The Score Doesn’t Really Show What Happened Out There” Remark After Cowboys’ Blowout Loss
Dallas Cowboys star player Micah Parsons faced criticism from fans following the team’s devastating loss to the 49ers. Despite the clear dominance of their opponents and quarterback Dak Prescott’s three interceptions, Parsons’ recent remark has sparked significant debate among fans and analysts.
The San Fransisco 49ers convincingly defeated the Dallas Cowboys with a score of 42-10, raising questions about the Cowboy’s contention in the NFC. In his post-game remarks per Michael Gehlken of Dallas Morning News, Parsons suggested that the score didn’t accurately represent their performance, leading some fans to label him delusional.
Micah Parsons Defends Cowboys’ Playoff Potential Despite Crushing 49ers Defeat
Parsons expressed his perspective on the teams’ performance following their loss. He believes that the 49ers are not necessarily at a higher level than the Cowboys. He emphasized their shared caliber, talent, and standards.
Parsons acknowledged the need to address certain issues within the teams, recognizing that the score may not accurately reflect the game’s dynamics. Micah Parsons said,
“I don’t think [the 49ers] are at a higher level than us. I think we’re the same caliber playoff team. Same talent. Same standards. I just feel like we need to reconsider …and fix some things. …The score doesn’t really show what happened out there.”

Several issues came to light after the game. Their defense surrendered a staggering 421 yards, including a whopping 170 rushing yards and three touchdowns to George Kittle. Dak Prescott’s three consecutive interceptions and three sacks in the second half left much to be desired.
Meanwhile, Tony Pollard’s limited touches included a fumble. The 49ers’ dominance in the red zone, time of possession, and third-down conversions showcased a one-sided affair.
Micah Parson’s Post-Game Remarks Displease Disheartened Fans

Ahhhh, I get it…Micah wasn’t at THIS game tonight. Okay, now it makes sense what he’s saying 🤦🏾♂️😂

The score shows exactly what happened out there. This wasn’t one of those pull away at the end type games, cowboys got their ass kicked from start to finish

A different set of fans emphasized that the score accurately reflected the game’s one-sided nature, stating that the Cowboys were outplayed from start to finish. Even those who admire Micah Parsons couldn’t endorse his view, asserting that the score clearly demonstrated Dallas’ comprehensive defeat.
Another fan commented on Micah’s assessment.
Love Micah, but can’t agree with his sentiment. The score shows exactly what happened out there. Dallas got its ass handed to it in all phases.
