Soon After Inking $15,192,000 Rookie Deal, Jerry Jeudy Splurged $300,000 on an Insanely Lavish Gift for His Mom Marie

Jerry Jeudy, the star wide receiver of the Denver Broncos, inked a $13,192,000 rookie deal back in 2020. As it turns out, as soon as he got the deal, Jerry wasted no time in spending $300,000 on a beautiful house for his mother, who sacrificed a lot during the WR’s childhood.

Jerry, in a recent interaction with GQ Sports, revealed that after getting his hands on his first million, he spent well over a quarter of a million dollars to purchase a house for his mother. In addition to that, the star footballer also decided to gift his beloved mom a brand new car, just to let her know how thankful he was for her contribution in his success.

Jerry Jeudy Bought His Mother a House of Her Choice

Jerry Jeudy signed his first NFL contract with the Denver Broncos after being drafted as a first-round pick in the 2020 NFL draft. He is currently in the fourth and final year of his rookie contract, which is worth a whopping $15,192,000. After signing the massive deal, Jeudy had no hesitation in spending a major chunk of his first million in buying a lavish house for his mother.

The former Alabama wide receiver spent about $300,000 to buy a house for his mother, Marie Jeudy, thereby ticking off one of his wishlists since childhood. During the interview with GQ Sports, Jeudy revealed that he surprised Marie on her birthday, through a video call. He even posted a heartwarming video of his mother’s live reaction on his official Instagram account back in October 2020.

Jerry’s mother eventually bought a five-bedroom house in Orlando in a gated community, something which she really wanted to do for a long time. “The first big purchase that I bought was for my mom a house, of course,” Jeudy told GQ

“That was $300,000. I called her on her birthday and I was like, ‘It’s your birthday. There’s something that I wanted to do since I was young, go find whatever house you want. I’m going to buy it for you.’ She bought a five-bedroom house in Orlando. It is in a nice gated community. That’s what she wanted and she got exactly what she wanted,” Jeudy recounted on how he spent his first million dollars.

Jerry continued to surprise and spoil his mother with yet another major purchase for her. The 24-year-old bought her a 22 BMW x7 worth $80,000, as he wanted to recognize her tireless efforts which helped shape his career since childhood days.

Jerry Jeudy Also Bought an Everyday Use Truck for His Father

While Jerry Jeudy was raised by his mother and is a thorough mama’s boy, he did not forget about his father, who still continues to work as a chef at an Italian restaurant. The wide receiver revealed that he and his father share a common passion for cars. He bought his father “some sort of truck” in Jerry’s own wordsthat was worth another $50,000.

Jeudy’s father uses that car as his everyday ride. However, now that he’s an NFL player, Jeudy expressed his reservations to his father about him continuing to be a chef. He wants his father to start something of his own. All in all, outside the gridiron, Jeudy is an extremely family-oriented person, which is perfectly evidenced by how he spent almost half of his initial earnings on his parents.
