"I would like my $70 back" JJ Watt Reacts To Dustin Poirier Knocking Out Conor McGregor

JJ Watt like many other people placed his bets on McGregor to win against Poirier today. However, Watt had his bet fall through as McGregor was knocked out.

Watt lost money, but at least his losses were only $70. Considering the fact that JJ Watt makes much more than that in a single day, he probably doesn’t feel too bad about this.

Twitter was quick to jump on Watt’s tweet, pointing out this very sentiment.

JJ Watt and Others React to McGregor vs. Poirier

Watt wasn’t the only one to react to the stunning knockout. Several people in the NFL community and sporting world took to social media to express their emotions.

Arizona Cardinals outside linebacker Chandler Jones also expressed his appreciation for Poirier on Twitter.

Clearly, this was a fight for the ages and it had everyone talking. It’s rare that certain sporting events get this kind of traction from all across however this was something special.

McGregor isn’t done fighting yet, and we’re sure to see more from the UFC great. For now though, he’ll have to lick his chops and get back into the gym.
