The Arizona Cardinals haven’t had an impressive season thus far. Although there were high hopes from the unit after they signed Kyler Murray for a hefty price ahead of the season, the franchise hasn’t really stepped up at crucial instances.

Apart from a few good wins here and there, the team from Arizona, which has won just 4 out of their 13 games thus far, has been found wanting against stronger oppositions.
In fact, the team has lost all of their last 3 clashes and is in dire need of a win to get some sort of winning momentum. However, to make matters even worse, their star QB Kyler Murray recently sustained a knee injury against the New England Patriots.

Due To Kyler Murray’s Injury, Colt McCoy Will Start Against The Broncos Tonight
In fact, there is little doubt about the fact that Murray tore his ACL which means that he will require a lot of treatment. As a result, it is clear that Murray is out of the entire season.
The Cardinals are set to take on the Denver Broncos tonight and it wouldn’t be wrong to say that it will be a clash of the dead and buried. While the Cardinals have been bad, the Broncos have been even worse.
Under star quarterback Russell Wilson, the Broncos have failed to do anything well this year. Out of their 13 clashes thus far, Broncos have lost 10 which means that their playoff chances are well and truly over.
As far as Murray is concerned, his fitness was always an issue this season. He also suffered a hamstring injury in October which forced him to miss two clashes and now, he is out of the season.
So not only against the Broncos, Murray will not take the field against any team this season. Even coach Kingsbury said after the injury that his leg certainly looks in bad shape.
Kyler’s individual numbers haven’t been that great and its a shame that he will not get a chance to improve them this season. In his absence, Colt McCoy is expected to start.
