The incident dates back to February 23, when Jackson and a few others visited a restaurant in Kansas City. The 22-year-old was alleged to have forcibly kissed the bar owner, making her insecure and assaulting a waiter. All these antics became the subject of national attention after the footage circulated across the internet.
Jackson Mahomes refused to answer media’s questions
Jackson got bailed out against a $100,000 bond that had plenty of instructions to be followed unless the entire investigation got wrapped up. According to the security bond, he cannot directly contact the victim, regardless of place, or engage in any conversation.
As this is a high-profile case, considering the severity of the entire situation, Jackson cannot consume alcohol or use illegal drugs; otherwise, he will face additional penalties. Currently, he is charged with three felonies, including a s*xual battery and other misdemeanors, per athlonsports.com.

While he was on his way out of jail, media personalities approached him to seek comments, but Jackson refused to speak. He was asked to respond whether he had any special message for the victims of this crime, but the 22-year-old kept him mum and walked towards his car along with the legal team. His attorney, Brandon Davies, mentioned that the judge had prevented Jackson from having any media interactions. Hence, he couldn’t talk directly.
Why is Jackson Mahomes in so much trouble?
According to multiple reports and video footage, Jackson forcibly kissed a 40-year-old bar owner, Aspen Vaughn, in Kansas City. He often visited the place and maintained a great relationship with her. But he misbehaved with her the last time, and fortunately, it was captured in the cameras. “He forcibly kissed me out of nowhere. and I’m telling him, pushing him off saying, ‘What are you doing?’” Vaughn had accused.
“And then he proceeded to do it two more times, where the last time I was pushing him off, and I can see on the cameras that somebody was outside the office door, and I was yelling for them to come help because he’s big and massive,” she had added. Investigation is still underway, and further updates on this matter are yet to arrive.
