Jackson Mahomes, the younger brother of the Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes was taken into police custody early on Wednesday morning. Jackson was under investigation for an incident that took place in February 2023. The TikTok celeb allegedly shoved a staff member of a restaurant and forcibly kissed the owner of the said restaurant. He was arrested on charges of aggravated s*xual battery.

The video of the assault was made public soon after a complaint was filed against Jackson. Aspen Vaughn, the owner of the restaurant, had said that Mahomes kissed her forcibly. She tried to push him away, but Mahomes didn’t listen. After the official complaint was filed, Jackson started to avoid posting content on his social media accounts.
Jackson Mahomes is in deep trouble
Jr. Mahomes was accused of battery on a fourth count in addition to three charges of aggravated s*xual battery. He was granted a $100,000 bond and lodged at the Johnson County Detention Center.
In March, Jackson’s lawyer had refuted the claims made against his client. “We have provided law enforcement with the tools and evidence they need to evaluate the claims against Jackson. Every interaction between people needs to be placed in the proper context. Releasing a short clip of any video does not provide proper context. We have faith in the process and look forward to a swift resolution of the matter,” the lawyer had stated.

No one from Jackson’s family openly talked about the allegations made against him, except for Patrick Mahomes’ wife Brittany. A few weeks ago, Brittany engaged in a Q&A session on Instagram. As expected, fans asked her a few questions about Jackson, to which she had said that no one knows the real story.
“They are ignorant. He is a human just trying to live his life and find his way and until you walk a day in his shoes (which no one ever will) you have no right to say s**t about him,” Brittany had stated.
Brittany, who is also the co-owner of KC Current, has been a massive Jackson supporter for a long time. It will be interesting to see how she reacts to Jr. Mahomes’ arrest.
