Joe Burrow & his impressive rookie season got cut short after an ACL tear limited him to only the first 10 games of the season. But despite his limited appearances, DL Mike Daniels had high praise for Burrow.

Mike Daniels spent 7 years in Green Bay along with Aaron Rodgers, so he knows a thing or 2 about the future Hall of Famer. Joe Burrow lived up to the hype that earned him the 1st overall pick in the 2020 NFL draft. He threw for 13 scores to only 5 interceptions and led the team to 2 victories. But a horrid offensive line saw Burrow being tossed around with ease before his ACL tear shut down his rookie season.
Entering his sophomore season, Burrow has a lot of expectations. . The Covid-19 pandemic limited the rookie to mostly online meetings up until now, so training camp would definitely be something the sophomore QB would look forward to.
Mike Daniels compared Joe Burrow to Aaron Rodgers
“You know what I say about Joe Burrow, man — that’s like baby Aaron,” Daniels said during a Thursday interview on NFL Network’s Good Morning Football.
“You don’t see many rookies step into a locker room and you would think the guy is a four-year vet if you didn’t know who he was,” Daniels said. “And to have that at the quarterback position, that means he has the right type of savvy, the right type of poise that you only see from guys like Aaron. And I’ve been saying it since I got there, I see a lot of similarities between the two and I’m just excited to be able to be part of it, man.
“He’s got a lot to him, a lot of upside. He’s only going to get better. And you talk to ‘Who Dey’ nation, they’re gonna let you know — Joe Burrow is the savior, man. He really is to this organization.”
With his former college teammate Ja’Marr Chase now also a Bengal, Joe Burrow will have a lot of weapons to throw to next season. Thus it should be very interesting to see the Bengals next season.
