LSU superstar Angel Reese has already become a celebrity in the American sports fraternity. She plays basketball for Louisiana and has caught the attention of prominent personalities in the college world. Her grand celebrations post-victory and signature dance moves have an incredible fan base. In fact, the men’s college football team has included these moves in their touchdown celebrations.

Apart from enjoying an illustrious sporting career, Reese happens to be a popular social media celebrity. She is quite active on platforms like TikTok and Instagram and often shares interesting content online. Most of them consist of dance moves that she usually performs with NBA stars and include her post-game celebrations.

LSU football players catch Angel Reese fever

Recently, the 20-year-old went viral on TikTok for a snippet she shared on the platform. All those hip rotations and double hand taps instantly went viral. In fact, the LSU Tigers appear to have unofficially included it in their touchdown celebrations. One of the football fans shared a video on Twitter, where the LSU stars impersonated Reese with her signature move.

The Maryland native caught wind of this message and offered help because she felt there was still scope for improvement. “no wayyyyy😭🤣🤣 I need to teach y’all how to really do it before the real games lmao,” Reese wrote in her Twitter handle.

Indeed, the fame she earned in her sophomore season has been incredible. Her NCAA championship victory elevated her brand value in the college world. As a result, she ranks 17 on the NIL list, attracting various brand endorsement deals from top companies in the country.

While speaking about her basketball career, Reese says she is in no rush to enter the WNBA arena and makes a decent amount of money compared to the professional athletes, playing in the league.

“I’m in no rush to go to the league,” Reese said, per CNBC. “The money I’m making is more than some of the people that are in the league that might be top players,” she added. Her net worth is estimated at around $1.3 million per year.

American rapper Yayo praises Angel Reese

Apart from her recent TikTok dance, Reese hcaught headlines while she tried impersonating WWE star, John Cena. His trademark “You can’t C me” was enacted during a college game by her, with Yayo coming forward to defend his role in discovering this dance move. He claimed to have invented this move and credited Reese for taking this step to a whole different level.

“When you look at Angel Reese, she’s a woman that’s popularizing women’s basketball,” Yayo said in an interview. “You got Lil Wayne calling her phone. You got Boosie excited over LSU. This championship was big… Angel Reese took the ‘You Can’t See Me’ dance to a whole ‘nother level. Definitely gotta shout her out.” he added.

Reese will be eligible for the draft next season. It will be interesting to see how long she retains her success despite garnering so much attention on social media.
