After struggling in his first year with the Panthers, Hogan will be making the move to New York. He is most well known for his time with New England, where he won 2 Super Bowls in 3 years.
The move should prove to be beneficial for the Jets. Head coach Adam Gase said WR Vyncent Smith sustained a core injury and rookie Denzel Mims still hasn’t returned from his hamstring injury. Hogan will give the Jets some depth at receiver and should be a reliable target for Sam Darnold.

AFC East Connections
Hogan, 32, entered the NFL in 2011 as an undrafted free agent. Since then, he has spent 7 out of his 8 seasons in the league playing in the AFC East.
He was with the Buffalo Bills for his first 4 years before he made the move to New England. With the Patriots, Hogan played an important role in 2 Super Bowl victories, picking up 12 TDs and 1651 yards over 3 seasons.
Interestingly, Hogan was also a member of the Miami Dolphins practice squad. Therefore, after signing with the Jets, he has now been a part of every team in the division.
