Whereas, several NBA fans don’t think that James has been able to gain the same legendary status as Jordan. In the show, former Broncos TE and Hall of Famer Shannon Sharpe presented Brady as the Jordan and Mahomes as the James of the NFL. Though a good deal of people may find the comparison sensible, Skip Bayless could not see any similarities between the Chiefs QB and the Lakers’ hoopster.

Skip said, “We’re gonna compare Patrick Mahomes to LeBron James, really? What has Patrick Mahomes accomplished so far? LeBron’s body of work is lightyears ahead of Patrick Mahomes’, so it’s hard for me to make the analogy.”

The comparison between Mahomes and James can fall flat when considering that James is 11 years older than Mahomes and has two more championship rings than he does. However, Sharpe did not agree with Bayless and thought that the comparison between Mahomes and Brady to James and Jordan made complete sense.
