Peyton Manning was heartbroken when he couldn't cameo in Emily in Paris, season 3

After his retirement, two-time Super Bowl winner Peyton Manning did not stop himself from achieving more fame and success. The former Denver Broncos quarterback went on to establish ‘Omaha Productions.’ Under the banner, the former NFL QB and his brother Eli Manning produced Manningcast, a live television broadcast of ESPN’s Monday Night Football, which the QB brothers host. Since the 47-year-old’s production company has found a solid footing, it will create its first scripted television comedy in collaboration with Universal TV.

Manning, who is famous for his football dexterity and his peak sense of humor, definitely knows a thing or two about comedy shows. After all, who can forget his hilarious skits on SNL?

Peyton Manning set to work on a comedy show which will serve more than just giggles

As per Deadline, NBC is developing a project with Sam Sklaver, Kevin Hench, and the former Indianapolis Colts QB Manning. The name of the series will be ‘What Are the Odds?’ It is a workplace comedy that takes place in a sports book in Las Vegas. It makes use of the environment to include gambling as part of its main theme and to make a point. The show would examine the bets and risks people take throughout their lives, including selecting the ideal friends, employers, and romantic partners. The major objective is to demonstrate how all of our significant decisions are actually just large bets with unpredictable outcomes.

Sklaver and Hench will act as executive producers for the series. Moreover, superstar QB Peyton Manning will join them through his production company, Omaha Productions. The series will be developed and produced by NBC’s Universal TV, which is a part of the Universal Studio Group.

Apparently, Hench and Manning have joined forces before. They regularly work together for the ‘Minus Three’ podcast on the Omaha Audio network. Needless to say, fans are super excited about the new project.

Peyton Manning once provided key ‘Comedy’ advice to Travis Kelce

As stated above, the five-time MVP winner presented a ‘Saturday Night Live’ episode back in 2007. Because of his humorous skits, he quickly became a fan favorite. As a result, when Chiefs’ top tight end Travis Kelce was set to host an episode of SNL, he felt compelled to ask Manning for some specific counsel.

The star QB told him to keep an open mind and be as candid as possible. “Peyton Manning gave me one word of advice going into it, which was the best advice I could get. He said, ‘Dude, just go all-in. Just be open-minded, just go all-in, be on time…'” Kelce said on his podcast, New Heights.

Kelce followed Manning’s instructions and presented a heaping platter of entertainment to the crowd, along with a side of mischief.
