“Reputation Ruined”: Georgia Product Stetson Bennett’s Arrest Footage Reveals Shocking Details
Georgia star Stetson Bennett recently found himself in hot water after he got arrested for public intoxication in January of this year. It became hot news across the pro football fraternity, with experts suggesting that the move could impact his selection in the NFL draft of 2023. Fans got more clarity on this situation after detailed bodycam footage showing the entire incident was released.
The 25-year-old is one of the most promising prospects in the quarterback draft class of 2023. He is expected to go off the boards on the opening night itself. However, the latest updates on his intoxication incident seem to have tarnished his image in the public eye.
TMZ released the video footage from the incident on social media, where one can see him freaking out and not complying with the orders.
Stetson Bennett calls out the cops for ruining his image
It was Jan 29 when the quarterback was found in an unfortunate situation. Per reports from Bleacher Report, a lady dialed 911 and informed the Dallas police of misconduct by Bennett knocking on her doors and yelling, “I’m going to ruin your night if you don’t open the g–damn door.”
Soon, the cops rushed to the scene and found the college star, who was completely drunk, misbehaving, and not answering their questions. They had no choice but to cuff him.

“The door shut. Somebody fell asleep,” Bennett said as soon as he was placed in the back seat of the squad car. “And now 5 million people gotta see it, don’t they? Thank you, boys, for looking out for me. You guys are the best. Reputation ruined”.
“Everything I worked for for 20 years, was ruined. But ya’ll boys just looking out for me, aren’t ya? Thank you, sir.” he added in guilt. It took no time for this footage to circulate across the internet, instantly garnering crazy reactions from the football world.
Bennett apologized for his actions
One of the prime reasons this case attracted so much attention is because of Bennett’s brand value in the sports industry. He is a top athlete from college, and now his career is at stake.
During the Scouting Combine, the two-time National Champion addressed the issue and delivered a message to all the coaches and staff present for the drills.
“I understand why that can’t happen. I’ve talked to coaches about it, talked to GMs, apologized to my family,” Bennet had said. Moreover, he admitted his mistakes and revealed how disgraceful this act turned out to be for his parents and family. Hopefully, the situation will cool down in the coming weeks.
