Underwood’s death was publicly disclosed by his wife, Donna, last month. She did not reveal the exact cause behind her husband’s demise. Over the years, the veteran established himself as one of the leading authors in the country. Some of his most prominent works revolve around football greats and the baseball champs like Ted Williams.

The book named “Manning: A Father, his sons, and a Football,” was initially published in the year 2000 and as expected, it instantly became one of the top-selling works in the market. The book sheds light on the life and experiences of the Manning clan, that started a new era of football in the country. Peyton’s childhood, his arrival on the grand stage, and special moments with his father are all covered in the masterpiece.
As the author community mourns John’s loss, a Twitter user has asked the football superstars to also say a few words about his demise. “Hey Eli Manning, Arch Manning, Peyton Manning my grandpa passed, and his service is tomorrow. He was the author of your book. Can you give us some words to say.” the user wrote. The authenticity of this account could not be verified.
