“Lot of That is My Fault “: Shannon Sharpe Makes a Shocking Revelation While Addressing His Ruptured Relationship With the 'Notorious' Skip Bayless

‘Undisputed’ host Skip Bayless has a knack for ticking people off. Especially his co-host and Hall of Famer, Shannon Sharpe. This time it’s no different. Tuesday’s episode of ‘Undisputed’ had a major part of its appeal missing as Sharpe refused to show up. Reportedly, he is angry at Bayless over some of his tweets about Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin’s injury.

While the rest of the NFL community offered thoughts and prayers for Hamlins’ recovery, including Sharpe, Bayless had a different question in mind bugging him. Though, Bayless did not completely forget about Hamlin, as in previous tweets, he did offer his prayers for the injured safety. However, he took to asking a wrong question, possibly at the wrong time, and that did not go down well with many.

Bayless took to Twitter to ask about the NFL’s plan regarding postponing the Bills game against the Cincinnati Bengals. He was not wrong in asking the question: the postponed fixture has some massive consequences for the AFC standings. A game that could potentially decide the outcome of the conference will definitely have to be rescheduled for before the regular season ends, which is just a week away.

Skip Bayless gets criticized for “insensitive” Tweet after Damar Hamlin injury

Skip Bayless has been getting flak from all sides. Including his ‘Undisputed’ co-host, Shannon Sharpe, who decided not to show up for Tuesday’s episode. Bayless begins by apologising for carrying on with the show, and crucially, not for his Tweet. He also mentions about his partner, Sharpe, being absent from the show. Sources tell TMZ that Sharpe is not amused by Bayless’ Tweets, hence the absence.

It is not the first time these two have had a public feud, for it almost seems like a weekly occurrence. Only recently, did Bayless tear into Sharpe for his criticism of Tom Brady. Bayless, who seemingly adores TB12, went on to make personal attacks on Sharpe, including saying that Brady is better than Sharpe. On other occasions too, Bayless has come across as a rather rude and insensitive person, according to fans.

Which is probably why many cannot fathem Bayless asking such an important question. Maybe the default opinion people have of him makes everyone think he is being insensitive towards Hamlin’s injury. Or maybe, no one expects such a question while everyone is holding their breath, waiting for good news about Hamlin.

Hamlin suffered what seems to be a cardiac arrest after he collided with Bengals’ receiver Tee Higgins in the first quarter of the Bills vs Bengals game on Monday. A sharp hit on the chest resulted in Hamlin collapsing mere seconds later. Medical teams tended to him on the field for a good 20 minutes before transferring him to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, where he is in a critical condition.
