Dak Prescott and Tom Brady

Tom Brady had a rough 2022. His personal life was in shambles, his FTX investment yielded poor results, and his on-field performances were simply not up to the mark.

However, somehow he managed to guide his team to the playoffs. A couple of incredible come from behind victories really helped Brady and Co. to edge past their opponents.

However, it was clear that things will not be this easy in the playoffs. They were up against Dallas Cowboys and although Dallas’ star quarterback Dak Prescott has had a scratchy season, his unit was expected to thrash the Bucs which is exactly what happened.

Right from the word go, the Bucs were simply dominated by Prescott’s boys. Dak had a fantastic game and ended the contest with as many as 4 Touchdowns for 305 yards and zero interceptions.

Dak simply looked unstoppable, as if Tampa Bay’s defense was clueless against him. On the other hand, Cowboys’ defense never allowed Brady to take control of the game.

Tom scored 2 touchdowns for 351 yards with one interception. His numbers aren’t very bad but in comparison to Prescott, he was clearly the second best QB on the given day.

As soon as the contest ended, fans started brutally trolling Brady. However, in the postgame conference, Dak extended his support for Tom, claiming that he has utmost respect for him.

Obviously a guy that I respect. The ultimate respect for. But that’s about that defense, the way they went out & took care of him. This isn’t some Dak vs. Tom Brady matchup. Our defense played their a*ses off,” Prescott said as reported by senior NFL reporter Jori Epstein.

Moreover, as per Jori, Brady also congratulated Dak for playing extremely well. As far as Tom is concerned, it appears like this might have been his last season for the Bucs.

There are rumors that Tom is in talks with a new franchise and who knows, we might see Brady yet again giving his everything on the field in the playoffs next season when he will be 46 years old.
