Ahead of Brady’s golfing match with Phil Mickelson against Aaron Rodgers and Bryson DeChambeau, Brady found time to appear on the golf course with comedian and host of “The Late Late Show with James Corden” on the segment “2 Hours Off.”
Among other things, Brady and Corden found time to practice their singing as Corden helped Brady warm up his vocal chords. The result was something incredibly hilarious.
Brady singing? Is that something you’d ever imagine coming from the seven time Super Bowl winner? Probably not, but recently, Brady has shown to be an incredibly entertaining personality, both on and off the field.
Tom Brady And James Corden Discuss Brady’s ‘7 Rings’ Comparison To Ariana Grande And Golf Match With Phil Mickelson, Aaron Rodgers, and Bryson DeChambeau
The comparisons to Brady and pop star Ariana Grande are almost impossible to miss. Brady has seven rings, and well, Ariana Grande released a song called ‘7 Rings’ in 2019. Was she foreshadowing Brady’s Super Bowl win this year?
That’s probably a stretch, but it’s easy to see why Corden chose Ariana as the pop star to compare Brady to. Corden spent a good deal of time on the golf course with Brady talking about various subjects.
On the matter of winning and being one of the greatest to do it, Corden asked Brady “You never sit and think I’m the best?”
To that Brady simply said no. He felt like it was dumb to make a comparison on who the greatest is likening it to comparing various meats like chicken, steak, or fish.
They also FaceTimed Phil Mickelson to pick up some pointers on the best golfing shots for particular scenarios. Well, at least Brady did, Corden sort of needed help all around.
They also gave a perfect performance of a song from the musical Hamilton, something Brady loves to death:
As far as the NFL goes, this is entertainment gold. Brady will never cease to amuse us with charming personality and pairing him alongside a host like James Corden makes for the perfect combination you can ask for. If you want to see the entire segment you can check the YouTube video here:
