OBJ then went to the Cleveland Browns where things never really worked out for him and hence, he requested a transfer in the middle of the 2021 season which proved to be the best move of his career.
OBJ went on to play a massive role in LA Rams’ Super Bowl winning campaign last year. When everything looked set for Odell, tragedy struck again as he ended up tearing his ACL during the finale against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Since then, there have been a lot of speculations about which team he will now end up joining but thus far, nothing substantial has been said by any of the parties involved.
Amidst all the rumors regarding where he might end up, OBJ got himself involved in a massive controversy. Back in November last year, he was escorted out of a plane when he was traveling to Los Angeles from Miami.
When Odell refused to get down from the plane, the cops were called who did the needful. The American Airlines crew had reportedly called for a medical emergency after expressing concerns that Beckham was “seriously ill” and had been “going in and out of consciousness” prior to takeoff.

Bodycam footage of the infamous plane incident involving Odell Beckham Jr. released
Now, more details have emerged about the incident after the police released the body cam footage of the incident. The cops were heard saying that Odell looks fine after they interacted with the WR. However, the crew insisted that he needs to get down as they aren’t aware about what exactly is going on with him.
As it turns out, while leaving the plane, Odell stopped for a while and had a verbal altercation with a fellow passenger. “You’re going to wait 40 minutes, and I’m going get on a private plane home,” Odell was heard saying to the man before calling him a fat a**.
“You fell asleep before the flight and they thought that may lead to an emergency in the air,” the paramedics told Odell after he got down. After the footage was made public, OBJ Tweeted a couple of times addressing the incident.
“Can’t address everything in this world, it’s exhausting. Errbody got an opinion on situations they weren’t involved in. All u can do is kno who u truly are. Purell only kills 99.9% of germs, there’s always gon be a lil left over,” he first wrote.
“I kno [sic] who I am. Period. All the rest and opinions really don’t matter to me. Have a blessed day and enjoy the board!” he Tweeted next. As far as Odell’s NFL career is concerned, he looks fit and ready for a comeback and without a doubt, a lot of teams would love to add him to their respective rosters.
