Odion Ighalo set to make Manchester United debiy against this side; Ole Solskjaer comfirms

Odion Ighalo set to make his debut for Manchester United in the Premier League fixture after manager Ole Solskjaer confirms.

Manchester United hired the services of Odion Ighalo on a six-month loan deal from Shanghai Shenhua on deadline day, realising a life-long dream in the process.

Now, his dream is set to be achieved as Ole Solskjaer has confirmed that Ighalo probably would make his Manchester United debut against Chelsea in the Premier League fixture.

“Yeah, he is going to travel with us. We will just see his fitness work this week and I think we will get him sharp,” Solskjaer told United’s official website.

“We want to integrate him as quickly as we can because, of course, he is desperate to play for us.”. Although, The Nigeria international did not join his new team-mates in Marbella for the club’s warm-weather training camp.

He reportedly did not travel, due to concerns over the coronavirus outbreak in China. Meanwhile, When asked how the rest of the squad have been progressing in Spain during the Premier League’s winter break, Solskjaer responded:

“Yeah, it’s very good. I think the boys enjoyed a break, they needed a break, but now they are back, focused and they have been working well. said Solskjaer.

“Of course with the weather back home as well, this has been an even bigger plus for us. Being in Europe, because the travel isn’t too far, is also a good point because we don’t have too many days before we have to go back and get ready for Chelsea.”

Last time when both sides met, it was their first matchday in this edition of the Premier League and Manchester United secured a thumping 4-0 win over the Londoners.

But since then, a lot has changed, Chelsea is likely to grab the top-4 post in the league and Manchester United is struggling to get even near it.
