Manchester City winning their maiden Premier League title was one of the most exciting and passionate spectacles in the history of football to watch considering the nature of title succession.

Both Manchester clubs were in a nail-biting contest to win the title and the battle between both went onto the final day of the tournament, and surely it turned out to be one of the finest Premier League ends.

Both the clubs were level on points before the final matchday, but Manchester City had an advantage over their city rivals on the goal difference.

On the final day, it seemed Manchester United will win the Premier League as Manchester City were trailing against QPR and Manchester United easily won against Sunderland by 1-0.

At the Stadium of Lights, Manchester United started celebrating their “title triumph”, while time at the Etihad stadium was slowly ticking away. But it wasn’t too late until Edin Dzeko equalized the score with a header and the whole Premier League fraternity was shocked to the core.

But still Manchester United was safe, only to see Sergio Aguero clinch the happiness away. In the 94th minute, Mario Balotelli made a crucial pass to Argentine International.

At that moment, Aguero drove the ball in open and smashed the ball to find the net and making Manchester City champions of 2012/13 season.
