Pep Guardiola has responded to rumours linking him with a move away to Juventus.

Manchester City are currently four points away from Liverpool who will face off Burnley at Anfield on Sunday. The Citizens were thorough 3-1 victors over Javi Gracia’s side with a hat-trick coming from the Citizens number 7 Raheem Sterling.

The English International scored a controversial goal, but two goals added within quick succession to hand no chance for Watford to make a comeback in this game. It was a relatively frustrating first half, but Pep Guardiola’s team talks have done a favour and start quickly in the second part of the game to secure yet another three points.

Pep Guardiola, who has won three major trophies with Manchester City in his third season at the club has been linked with a move to Juventus in the summer transfer window. The Old Lady’s manager Massimiliano Allegri is alleged to leave the club after spending five years at the club.

The Italian outfit have already started to look for another manager as they prepare to clinch the Champions League for the first time since 1996. Juventus are currently trailing 2-0 from the first leg and will play their second leg against Atletico Madrid at their own backyard on Tuesday.

The Spanish manager has a brilliant track record with Barcelona and Bayern Munich is supposed to take over the club as reported by many Italian outlets. The representatives of Pep Guardiola have a verbal agreement with Juventus to join them in the summer window.

Italian journalist Luigi Guelpa was the first man to confirm the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo at Turin during the summer transfer window. The same guy has confirmed that Pep Guardiola has agreed to join the club following this season.

Following the 3-1 victory over Watford in the Premier League, Pep Guardiola was asked if he has agreed to join the Italian outfit for the next season. The former Barcelona boss was quick to deny that rumour and said that he would run down his contract at Manchester City which expires in 2021.

“I have two more years and I’m not going anywhere unless they sack me.” said the Manchester United gaffer in the post-match press conference.

There is no doubt that Manchester City will be trying to do everything to keep Pep Guardiola as they prepare to chase Champions League. The Spaniard took one season to bring his philosophy and completely changed his squad in the following season to take the club to another level.

The likes of Kyle Walker, Ederson, Bernardo Silva, Bernard Mendy, Gabriel Jesus, Danilo, Leroy Sane, Ilkay Gundogan and Riyad Mahrez have been bought by Pep Guardiola. Additionally, Raheem Sterling and Kevin De Bruyne significantly improved under the Spaniard. They are one of the best players in the Premier League currently.

There was a huge outrage when the first goal went in. Raheem Sterling was in an offside position which the linesman was quick to notice it, but the referee decided to overturn that decision for some reason whatsoever.

“Next season is VAR and it will be more fair. If it was offside I say sorry. We voted to start VAR from start of this season. Other clubs said no.” said Pep.

Pep Guardiola was not deemed a successful manager at Bayern Munich because of the failure to lift the Champions League trophy with the Bavarians. On the other hand, Manchester City’s semifinal run under the management of Manuel Pellegrini is the maximum they have gone ahead in the competition.

It will be interesting to see how he would react if he is offered the job to work with Cristiano Ronaldo at Juventus. The Italian outfit fans are not happy with the style of Massimiliano Allegri despite winning domestic trophies.

Pep Guardiola has a brand of football and he could be the manager to take Juventus to places.
