Phil Foden goal vs Tottenham: Manchester City have taken a 1-0 lead quite early in the game with a brilliant header.
Manchester City took a lead in the fifth minute of the game against Tottenham Hotspur as Phil Foden headed home his first-ever PL strike.
The Blues hardly needed the inspiration to turn up after their stunning defeat in the quarterfinal of the Champions League tie to Pochettino’s side, as they took the field at Etihad Stadium earlier today.
Phil Foden made a start in the game and scored his first league goal as Sergio Aguero assisted the youngster with a header.

Manchester City played attacking football from the very first minute of the game and was soon rewarded with a breakthrough.
Pep Guardiola has often been criticised for not playing Phil Foden more often, and the youngster made a shock start against Tottenham. He didn’t disappoint the Manchester City faithful as he gave his side the lead in the 5th minute of the game.

Manchester City, at the moment, is at the top of the table with the lead at Etihad Stadium. If Pep Guardiola’s side secures three points in the league, they will take a one-point lead over Liverpool.
However, Klopp’s side lines up against relegation-threatened Cardiff City tomorrow night.
