It rendered USA’s run chase obsolete and redundant as Namibia showed the requisite perseverance needed to make massive strides in the arena. They ended up halting USA’s effort at just 142, marauding their way to a meticulously crafted 139 run win through the DLS method.
Now taking on PNG for the first time in this series as the two sides veer up to square off against each other for the first time in two encounters slated within the day, Namibia will be quietly confident of emanating the same display. PNG are yet to win a match in the series, the only side to do so with the team being defeated by USA on both encounters, the most recent being a 62 run defeat as USA dismissed them for 115 in pursuit of 177.
