PPD Dota 2 comeback: Former TI-champion Peter “ppd” Dager returns to Sadboys roster for Dota Pro Circuit 2021. Peter “ppd” Dager, who retired in April 2020, is returning to competitive Dota 2. Read more to find all the latest details about his comeback. 

It is very clear now that ppd just cannot stay away from the Dota 2 competitive action. He recently announced that he will be making a comeback in this year’s Dota Pro Circuit for his former team Sadboys. Evil Geniuses picked up Peter “ppd” Dager, and soon, he helped them win TI in 2015.

Peter “ppd” Deger excels at playing his support role, which makes him highly sought after. He has spent many years at the top of the Dota 2 competitive scene. Early in 2020, he announced his retirement from the pro-Dota 2 scene.

After the pandemic hit the world, ppd found it hard to stick around with Ninjas in Pyjamas. So, in retrospect, ppd still says that his call to quit professional Dota at the time was the right now. He also did not play Dota 2 in the first month he returned to the United States.

Peter “ppd” Dager return to pro-Dota 2

However, ppd could not snub his inner fire, which wanted to play & stream Dota 2. Soon, he started his stream 6 days a week for 3 hours. His hectic schedule, during his professional playing days hardly left him anytime to stream his games. After 3 months, he decided it was time to emerge from the shadows and return to the competitive Dota 2 ecosystem.

Along with his former TI-champion teammate Clinton “Fear” Loomis, he decided to rejoin the Sadboys roster. He let the world know of his plans to go pro again by tweeting and the reasoning behind his decision through a blogpost in weplay!

This impressive squad will take part in the Dota Pro Circuit NA region, which begins from January 18th. They will also be eager to knockout their rivals Evil Geniuses out of contention.
