Dota Pro Circuit 2021 SEA Qualifiers : The Dota Pro Circuit dates are drawing near, and the SEA teams are waiting to get into the action. Read more for all the details about Dota pro Circuit 2021 Southeast Asia Region Qualifiers.

Valve recently confirmed that the Dota Pro Circuit will be returning in 2021. More than cash prizes, a victory in DPC assures the team a spot in the International. Valve conducts The International, the most elite Dota 2 tournament every year. Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, this year the DPC for the SEA region will be held online on the Singapore Server.

The open qualifiers for SEA region begins on 4 January 2021, and the top 2 teams will move on to the closed qualifiers. After the teams battle it out in the closed qualifiers, the reigning teams will move to the lower bracket.

This is a long and drawn out tournament, which also promises to provide fans and gamers with plenty of Dota 2 action. PGL Esports will be hosting the Dota Pro Circuit 2021 for the SEA region.

Dota Pro Circuit SEA region Prize Pool & Schedule

In the upper & lower bracket, the teams participating will be battling for over a month. The action begins on 18th  January and will go on till 27th February. Apart from the highly coveted slot in The International, the Dota Pro Circuit 20201 SEA Region also carries a prize pool of $ 280,000 which will be split up among the teams as follows:

  1. 1st Place: $ 30,000
  2. 2nd Place: $ $28,000
  3. 3rd Place: $ $27,000

The top 3 teams will also get the chance to qualify for the The International.  The top team will qualify for the Major playoffs, the 2nd placed team to the Group stage, and the third team as a Wild Card in the Majors.

Dota Pro Circuit SEA region Teams Roster:

Currently, there are 4 teams which have already gotten an direct invite to form half of the upper bracket in the SEA region. These teams are TNC Predator, Fnatic,  T1 and Boom Esports. Each of these roster boasts of a talented set of players. The remaining 4 teams which qualify from the lower division will join these 4 teams in a Round Robin.
