‘All is well, we have a very big game against Real Madrid. It’s important to focus on this game and not listen to the rumors. We do not want to enter the game of the Spanish press. Will he be there 100 per cent next season? Not 100 per cent, at 2000 per cent.’
Al-Khelafi added that the speculation could be a result of the Spanish media in an attempt to destabilize the PSG board and players ahead of their crucial last-16 double header against Real Madrid in the Champions League this season.
The match marked a special occasion Edinson Cavani as the Uruguayan surpassed Zlatan Ibrahimovic to become Paris-Saint Germain’s all time leading goal-scorer with his 157th goal for the club.
Media speculations are astray claiming Neymar’s unhappiness in the French capital. Real Madrid are favorites to sign him this summer with recent interest coming in from Manchester City as well.
But at the same time, no one can imagine Neymar staying at PSG for the foreseeable future. The Brazilian icon is one the biggest brands in the world, and will definitely look to make a mega move to one of the premier institutions in world football.
Now that Barcelona is already done, Real Madrid or maybe even Manchester United could be Neymar’s next destination.
