The coach was asked to leave midway into his contract by another club with Tottenham wielding the axe on him on Monday. Left despondent by lacklustre displays on the pitch, Tottenham are also said to have been irate with Mourinho’s comments after matches.

It all culminated in Mourinho being asked to cavate his role by Tottenham. The club revealed the news in a statement given by chairman Daniel Levy on Monday.

“Jose and his coaching staff have been with us through some of our most challenging times as a Club. Jose is a true professional who showed enormous resilience during the pandemic. On a personal level I have enjoyed working with him and regret that things have not worked out as we both had envisaged. He will always be welcome here and we should like to thank him and his coaching staff for their contribution, the club’s chairman Daniel Levy said.

Full Amount To Be Paid By Tottenham

Reports emanating from England have now gone onto reveal the full cost of Mourinho’s sacking to Tottenham. As pert reports, Tottenham will be paying Mourinho 15 million pounds as part of his P45.

The financial ramifications of the move are set to be colossal for Tottenham with the side already struggling to cope with the havoc wrecked by Coronavirus. However, the side has managed to lessen the blow by pleasing its supporters with a demand long being made.

Tottenham will now be under Ryan Mason’s charge for the remainder of the season. The side’s next task is taking on Manchester City in the final of the FA Cup at the weekend as it looks to recompense for recent sorry performance.
