Ritika Sharma and Yuzi Chahal engage in a hilarious conversation
Rohit Sharma will be relieved that the test series is over, as the Hitman can now concentrate on reprising his role as one of the best limited overs batsmen in world cricket.
It is a startling change in mindset for Rohit, as the graceful right hander looks completely at ease in the blue of India, as compared to the nervous and twitchy batsman who struggled in the test series.
Over the last eighteen months, Rohit has firmly established himself as one of the premier batsmen in the limited overs format, as the Mumbai batsman’s record is comparable to that of Virat Kohli.
With India looking to win the ODI series and extract revenge on the test series loss, Rohit will be key for the Men in Blue.
Ahead of the first ODI in Durban, Rohit was seen relaxing with team mate Yuzi Chahal, as the opener put up a candid picture on social media.
Chahal then took to social media and cheekily asked Rohit’s wife, Ritika if she was missing her husband.
Ritika replied in kind, and agreed with the young spinner.
Chahal has been superb for India, as the leggie has established himself as the leading spinner for India in limited overs format.
Yuzi Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav have formed a wonderful partnership for India over the past few months.
India will hope that Chahal and Rohit both perform for India in South Africa, and help them win both the ODI and T20I series.
Let’s hope for the best!
