Rohit Sharma’s message for Mohammed Shami
The Indian Fast Bowler, Mohammed Shami has been going through a bad phase for the past few weeks. Things became worse when he met with an accident on Sunday. He was traveling from Dehradun to New Delhi after having visited the Abhimanyu Academy for his practice.
The accident took place at 6 in the morning when a truck hit his car from behind. He got 4-5 stitches after suffering head injuries and is currently recuperating in a hospital in Dehradun.
The cricketer received many ‘get well soon wishes’ from fans and also from his teammates. Rohit Sharma was one of the first Indian players to wish Shami a speedy recovery.
Rohit Sharma and Mohammed Shami are good friends on and off the field. The Indian Vice Captain, Rohit Sharma came forward to give support to Shami and wished for his speedy recovery.
“This lad has gone through a lot in recent times. Wishing him a speedy recovery @MdShami11”. Sharma tweeted

Rohit Sharma, in his tweet, refers to the personal issues through which Shami has been facing.
Shami’s wife Hasin Jahan had imposed several charges against him (Shami). Hasin Jahan alleged that Shami was guilty of rape, extra-marital affairs, cheating, and even match-fixing. She had even claimed that the Indian cricketer was taking money from other women.
However, the BCCI ACU investigations found Shami not guilty of any charges imposed on him. Consequently, Shami has been handed his Grade B contract by BCCI under which he will be paid Rs 3 crore. Recently, Shami got permission to play in IPL too.
Shami will face a race against time to get fit for the IPL which begins on the 7th of April.
“I am extremely thankful to all my friends that you continued to have faith in me and gave me your love and support in adverse conditions. I played for you and my country, I will keep playing,” Shami wrote on Twitter.
