Roman Reigns on Raw: SmackDown stars Invade WWE Raw | WWE News

Roman Reigns: Will the SmackDown Star invade WWE Raw today? Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer suggests he might. And the Big Dog might not be alone…

Over the last weekend WWE Superstar and officials have had a very out of the blue( Get it?) and unusual conversation on Twitter.

The Former WWE Universal Champion, who wrestles for the Smackdown Brand, spoke of an unfinished business in the Red Brand. He finished his tweet with #ProtectTheYard.

WWE swiftly responded and informed the fans that Roman wouldn’t appear on Raw. His obligations as a SmackDown wrestler was cited as the reason.

Roman dropped another tweet saying that he would kick off Raw and informed WWE to keep his music ready.

There have been many theories since on what this storyline could be leading to. However Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer seems to believe that this is all leading to a big Money in the Bank angle. On the Wrestling Observer Radio he said:

“They cancelled their Monday night SmackDown house show, but I’m guessing you’re gonna have Roman Reigns and the four women and the four guys from the Money In The Bank match running in and doing an angle maybe, maybe we’ll see what they’re doing”.

Meltzer also said that he heard that WWE wanted Raw to have a big show in Order to build-up Money in the Bank.

Smackdown was supposed to have a house show on Monday but it was rescheduled at the last minute following low ticket sales. This frees up the Smackdown wrestlers. But will they appear on Raw?

Guess we’ll have to watch to find out.

Like most combat sports enthusiasts, his passion for watching people fight began with WWE when he witnessed a young Brock Lesnar massacre Hulk Hogan back in 2002. This very passion soon branched out to boxing and mixed martial arts. Over the years he fell in love with the theatrics that preceded the bell and the poetic carnage that followed after. Each bruise a story to tell, each wound a song of struggle, his greatest desire is to be there to witness it all. His favorite wrestler is Shawn Michaels and he believes that GSP is the greatest to ever step foot inside the octagon. Apart from wrestling, he is also fond of poetry and music.
