As previously reported, former UFC icon Ronda Rousey made her much anticipated appearance with the WWE at the end of the first ever Women’s Royal Rumble which saw Asuka crowned as the first ever winner.
It has been revealed that Rousey has signed a full time contract with the company as she has stated that this is her life from now on.
Rousey did not appear on Rumble post shows which has left her involvement with the talent, a mystery. It is being speculated that she will finish the shooting for the movie Mile 22 and then be a part of a storyline for a prospective match at WrestleMaina.
Dave Meltzer from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Ronda will team up with “The Brahma Bull” Rock against the power duo of Triple H and Stephanie McMahon.
The people mentioned above were involved in a historic segment at WrestleMania 31, where Rousey and The Rock confronted the duo which led Rousey to assault Triple H and sending him out of the ring.
Whereas, PWInsider is sepcualting that Rousey will go for the SmackDown Women’s title and face Charlotte in the process since Asuka is expected to face Alexa Bliss for the RAW Women’s title at “The Grandest Stage Of Them All”.
It is evident that the company has high hopes and big plans for the MMA queen, with her days in the octane ring over, the long time WWE fan can truly live her dream with the WWE Universe behind her.
