Sentinels Valorant Roster Update: Marved to Play the Next Match against LOUD; TenZ Benched!

Sentinels have always been a hot topic for Valorant Esports. They have had lots of controversies in the past, the most famous one was the ShahZaM debacle. However, due to TenZ’s nature and his popularity, a lot of people criticize his ability to frag, especially for these past months. Sentinels have not performed at the level they are expected to perform. That is the reason a lot of fans are upset. Although, most of these things might not necessarily be his fault. Let us address three things in the article today. One is Marved as a sub, TenZ’s situation, and coach Kaplan’s involvement.

TenZ Benched, Sentinels Valorant New Coach, and Marved Returns!

First, let us address TenZ’s momentum. TenZ gets a lot of flack for underperforming. His overwhelming popularity comes with lots of drawbacks. The most prominent drawback is the amount of responsibility on his shoulders and people expecting a star performance. When he does not live up to that performance, fans get heated. Last week’s match against MIBR was brutal for him. One because of his injury, two because of his psyche and Kyedae’s condition, and due to the responsibility of being a star fragger.

This break will prove good for him. Check out Kyedae’s Tweet to address TenZ’s situation.

Now, let us address Marved. He was instrumental in Optic’s success. Sentinels bringing him as a sub was one of the best moves for the organization. Now, we will see how he performs after a break because he hasn’t competed in a major tournament in a while. All eyes are going to be on Marved when he makes himself known in the roster. We are guessing Zekken will go back to his duelist role and Marved will now be in charge of playing smokes. We will find out what happens in the match vs. LOUD.

Lastly, the newest coach Kaplan was the one who made the decision to bench TenZ for the next game. Kaplan has lots of experience making teams out of Tier 2 players, therefore we do not question this decision. However, LOUD is a formidable team, that is why, we will see if the decision is good or not.

The match vs. LOUD takes place on April 22nd. We expect great things out of Marved. Let us see if he can live up to the fan’s expectations. The LOUD side is unrelenting and will be the toughest challenge for Sentinels in this tournament. Who are you supporting in this Valorant match-up? Let us know in the comments below!
